MAKING EVERY LESSON COUNT
A Patient Music Teacher
I began playing music as a kid. I played the bassoon in school 6th through eighth grade. I switched to my instrument of choice, percussion in 9th grade. At that time I had also started playing the guitar and bass guitar and joined the high school jazz band. I continued my study of music in to college. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX in instrumental music education. I have taught private music lessons since before I graduated college. After graduating I began teaching in public schools as a director and music teacher. I have been a music teacher for 17 years now. I also have played professionally for several local groups in the DFW area.
